Get To Know Me

Iesha Brooks

I am deeply committed to providing meaningful mental health support to BIPOC communities and other underserved populations.

I hold a special passion for working with Black and Brown prenatal and postpartum mothers.

I hold a Black Perinatal Mental Health Certification from the Seleni Institute (2025) and earned my M.A. in Counseling Psychology (Community Mental Health) from the California Institute of Integral Studies.

I believe therapy is, at its core, a meaningful conversation; one that fosters insight, healing, and connection. My clinical perspective is informed by psychodynamic, attachment, and family systems theories. As an integrative therapist, I tailor my approach to meet you where you are, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to best support your unique needs and growth.

I approach each client with cultural humility and a trauma-informed lens, recognizing and exploring the full context of your lived experience. My work is rooted in a strengths-based, nonjudgmental approach, allowing us to build a trusting relationship where your resilience is affirmed and your goals are supported with care and intention.

Outside of work I love to sing, try DIY projects and run outdoors.
